During quarantine, Carlo has been invited to collaborate with other 20 rock performers from Salento, to record an original song (“Salento rock against Covid”) associated with a fundraising for the local health facilities to deal with the Covid 19 emergency. More than 20.000 euros have been collected.  The project was conceived by Eric Manco Manico.

On 26th June 2019, the lifeless bodies of Oscar and his daughter Valeria were found on the bank of the Rio Grande, in the muddy water, drowned in the current. They were trying to cross the border between Mexico and the USA. In an attempt to save her, the young father tightened his daughter to him, under his shirt. And so they were found. The young man from San Salvador, like many others, was desperate for a dignified life for himself and his family.

“June 26th” tells their story, imagining the words that Oscar would have addressed to his little girl in the future, dead instead just 23 months old.

The song has been recorded and edited at ESSENZA studio, Spongano LE, Italy, by Alessandro Rizzello (October-December 2019)

 "The fury of the ancient witch" is a song inspired by an ancient legend from Salento, the geographical region of the South Italy from which the trio comes. The legend tells of the revenge of a witch ("macàra" in the local dialect), confined to the margins of society, towards an unfortunate man, forced by her to dance overnight at the sound of an enchanted melody, until the exhaustion of forces and madness.
For the realization of the video, the cartoonist Fabrizio Vetruccio chosen to transpose the ancient legend into a modern comic strip. The clip is directed by Alessandro, bassist of the group.  Enjoy the video at the following link: [ link]
